With the world getting more connected every minute, everyone spends much of the day with their heads down, texting or reading status updates. Too much tilting your head, though can become a pain in the neck, giving you ‘text neck’.
Looking down puts abnormal stress on the neck muscles, causing fatigue, neck spasm and stress headaches. Since every degree of motion to the front or side that you move your head magnifies the stress on your neck. Instead, modify the position of your device-hold it at a neutral, eye level position. And, most important, take frequent breaks between playing with your phone or tablet.
