Knee Pain IS It Aging or Is It A Disease? Cytotron Treatment Without Knee Replacement And Without Surgery!!!

Knee Pain in older people is generally accepted as a part of the aging phenomenon and is most commonly not considered as a disease. Osteo-arthritis is one of the most common and most ancient diseases in the world. Osteo-arthritis is the most common form of arthritis and is projected to afflict over 14 million people in India. The disease affects joints such as the knees, hips, shoulders and occurs more in women than in men. It is one of the leading causes of disability in India having economic and quality of life implications.

Mrs. Nandhini Rao (name changed) a 65 years old slightly overweight woman, with a seven year history of progressively worsening osteo-arthritis presented herself with the following symptoms and was advised both knees Replacement Surgery.

Pain in both knees. X-rays show reduction in joint space specially on the medial side and osteophyte formation. Pain is relatively less while sitting or lying down but is there.

Difficulty in walking for more than 10 minutes.

Reduced range of motion of both knees.

Lot of cracking in both the knees.

Loss of confidence in walking; she felt her knees might “giveway”.

Lives with supportive spouse but is losing contact with her community and social connections.

Mrs. Nandhini Rao was unresponsive to the conventional treatments including medications, supplements and dietary changes and was very unwilling for surgery. After learning about the care plus knee care program, she took the treatment right away. The treatment included a 21-day QMRT ® program integrated with patient specific advanced physio routines, exercise and life style modifications. After completing the treatment, Mrs. Nandhini is now pain free, can walk long distances outside of her home and re-engage in community activities. The increased activity has led her to lose weight and is in a happy mood. Post Treatment X-Rays show increase in joint space.
