FIGHT AGAINST PNEUMONIA

INTRODUCTION:Pneumonia1.jpg

Every person daily inhales at least 14,000-16,000 liters air. In case of children it is 8000-10,000 liters. This air is processed in alveolus (present in lungs). If blood cells, deoxygenated blood and other fluids(Edjugus) are present instead of air in alveolus, this state is called as pneumonia.

CAUSES OF PNEUMONIA:

Bacteria like- Staphylococcus, Haemophylus, Gram negative, aerobic, TB Bacteria etc.

Over crowding

Alcohol: Alcohol causes reducing of defence mechanism it leads to pneumonia

Micro  aspiration : O r o pharyngeal flora, it is a bacteria present in every body.  It is enters into

Alveoli through respiratory tube it leads to pneumonia.

Age: pneumonia commonly attacks children and old people because of low immunity power.

Nutrition: our daily diet should contain all satisfactory nutritional values otherwise defensive mechanism will become weak in our body.

Pneumonia chances are rich in patients who suffer with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchitis and cardio vascular disease.

It is also seen in chain smokers.

Persons who remove spleen by spleenectamy, they also often attack by pneumonia.

CHARACTERISTICS OF PNEUMONIA:

Cough followed by fever, body pains, cold and loss of appetite primary symptoms.

Phlegm is may present or not, if it is present it is in whitish yellow color

Chest pain

In serious condition fatigue also appears

Hypoxic respiratory failure:

Blood cells and other fluids obstructs the oxygen supply to the body, this condition is called hypoxic respiratory failure.

PREVENTIVE METHODS:

We should cover our nose and mouth with kerchiefs and mufflers in cold atmosphere

Prevent overcrowding and clustering

Stop drinking alcohol and smoking

We should take fresh leaves, vegetables and fruits in our diet. They have antioxidants, which helps to maintain good immunity to our body.

CONCLUSION:

In our market good medicines are available to prevent pneumonia. By using antibiotics within days the characteristics of pneumonia may reduce but we should use complete course of medicines, only after through diagnosis of pneumonia.
